League of Friends Heatherwood 2000 - 2001

The new millennium kicked off with the league funding the move of the radio station.

The radio service Radio Heatherwood was forced to move from the maternity unit. Although this caused a large expense for the league, we were still able to fund other items for the hospital.

The league presented gifts to the hospital in the 2000-2001. Totalling £15'284.58.

In 2000 the league moved to email and the creation of it's first web site.
This allowed us to showcase our history and generate interest in the league's activities.
