January 2007 Progress
In the summer of 2006 construction work had commenced on the new housing development.
It's now January 2007 and work is continuing. Wards 4 & 5 are shown close up with the dividing fence which has been erected. This clearly showed the closeness of the development to the wards and result of this was for the windows in the wards to be changed to frosted windows, whereas previously a view across the wooded area was available.
The veranda's on these wards were previously used during the summer month's, as beds would be placed outside.
These pictures taken in January 2007 captured the early ground work on the building site.
