So sad to hear it's the end of an era, I was in Heatherwood having my baby and my first husband was always in and out of
Heatherwood and always loved the radio,

You guys did a fabulous job to keep Radio Heatherwood going for so long, and I feel proud to have been a part of it for
a few years. I found my feet there as a presenter and I still have the bug now, 30 years later. In fact I visited
Heatherwood just last week for the first time in many years and went looking for the studio. Needless to say I failed, and now perhaps I understand why.

So sad π I was part of RHTC (radio Heatherwood Tuesday crew) back in 80's along with Paul, Steve and Dilwyn.

Sad this has happened, very short sighted of the trust. Remember the good times when I was part of the Thursday Crew
back in the late 70's.

Farewell old friend, my family grew up under your wings, you made friends with plenty of staff over the years, you made patients stay a little more pleasant.
Saturday 3rd December 07.00 the computer play out system choose a choral version of morning has broken, at 09.00 the final hour programme played the best of the patients chart of 1986.
It was a grey overcast cloudy sky, as we turn the key to switch you off after the news at 10.03, the clouds parted and the sun shone
threw the reception window for a couple of minutes, before disappearing again.
